PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR
YOUR EVENT
The framework is proven. The program is yours. Matt starts with a conversation about your people and what they’re up against, then shapes the talk to your room. Same principles, your language, your examples.
Resilience
10-Second Resilience
A Pit Crew Blueprint for Bouncing Back
How elite pit crews recover from disaster in under ten seconds — and what that means for your team's next setback.
View Core Idea & Outcomes
The Core Idea
Modern pit stops run under ten seconds because every crew member owns a primary responsibility and watches a secondary one — so when something breaks, recovery is instant, not improvised. Built on the P.I.T.C.R.E.W.S. framework, this talk translates race-day resilience into a repeatable system for bouncing back from setbacks at work.
The Outcomes
- Identify the "lug nut moments" that derail your team when nobody's ready for them
- Build clear primary/secondary ownership so recovery doesn't depend on one person noticing
- Read stress signals before a setback compounds into a crisis
- Turn "we can't win it here, but we can lose it" into a working standard under pressure
Culture
The Culture DriVen Workplace
A Framework for Building Teams That Win
Hit the floor with a clear direction on how to build championship culture from the top down.
View Core Idea & Outcomes
The Core Idea
Culture is the ultimate horsepower that fuels the success of any organization. Without it, you risk losing great people who want to be seen, valued, and contributing to something bigger than themselves. This isn't a feel-good talk — it's a game plan with a clear direction to execute from the top down starting Monday morning.
The Outcomes
- Identify whether your culture is happening by design, or by default
- Close the gaps in your culture and take immediate, targeted action
- Shift from managing production to serving people and watch culture change
- Reduce costly turnover by building a culture people refuse to leave
Leadership
The 5-Axis Leader
Five Disciplines of a High-Performance Leader
Precision machining meets leadership: five axes every leader has to move on at once, not one at a time.
View Core Idea & Outcomes
The Core Idea
A 5-axis CNC machine cuts precisely because it moves on five axes at once — leadership works the same way. This framework gives leaders five disciplines to operate on simultaneously, rather than picking one to focus on while the others drift.
The Outcomes
- Diagnose which axis of their leadership is underdeveloped
- Move on more than one leadership dimension at once, instead of lurching between them
- Build a shared leadership vocabulary across a management team
- Leave with a practical framework, not a personality label
Performance
The Money Stop
Executing When It Counts, Not Just When It's Easy
Why championship teams treat every stop like the one that decides the race — and how to build that standard into a normal Tuesday.
View Core Idea & Outcomes
The Core Idea
Culture is the engine, process is the chassis. Championship pit crews don't rise to the big moment — they fall to the level of what they rehearsed. This talk builds a four-pillar model for making high performance the default, not the exception: benchmark obsession, pressure by design, individualized coaching, and controlling the inputs you actually control.
The Outcomes
- Set a real performance benchmark instead of an aspirational one
- Build pressure into practice on purpose, so it's familiar on game day
- Coach the individual, not just the team average
- Control the inputs they own instead of managing outcomes they don't
Precision
Jewelry for the Eyes
Performance & Precision
On pit road, a stray lug nut isn't a small miss — it's the difference between winning and going home. A case for detail discipline as a competitive advantage.
View Core Idea & Outcomes
The Core Idea
In racing, precision isn't a compliance box — it's something a great crew takes pride in, down to the shine on a lug nut. This talk makes the case that "close enough" is a hidden cost center, and builds a standard where attention to detail is treated as a source of pride, not a chore.
The Outcomes
- Make the internal case for why "close enough" is quietly expensive
- Build inspection and feedback loops that catch small misses early
- Create a team standard where precision is a point of pride
I lived it on pit road, where I learned the hard way what it takes to build and coach championship pit crews at NASCAR’s highest level. Performance demanded. No margin for error. That’s the standard I bring to every team I work with.

Event Planner FAQ
What if our audience isn’t into NASCAR?
NASCAR was the setting, but this isn’t a racing talk. It’s about how championship teams get built, and that works in the boardroom, on the shop floor or on the job site just as well as on pit road.
Will this work for a room that didn’t choose to be there?
It happens. Mandatory safety meetings, all-hands, shift meetings. I don’t open with a motivational speech. I open with something they recognize from their own job. Nobody has to buy in for it to land.
What does it take to work with you before we book?
A quick discovery sheet before our first call, so we’re not spending your time on basics. Then we talk. A follow-up call if you need one.
What happens between booking and the event?
A planning call as soon as you decide, so we lock in event details and shape the talk. After that, I get you everything you need for your program and promotion.
Do you speak virtually or hybrid?
I’m on Zoom every day and present virtually to small groups. Keynotes and larger workshops I deliver in person.
Can you do a keynote plus a breakout?
Yes. A same-day breakout is easy to add.
Can you do a workshop the same day as the keynote?
Yes. A workshop of up to a half day pairs well with a keynote.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better for securing a date. I’m also available as an emergency speaker and can be ready in as little as 24 hours, depending on the situation.
Can you handle a tough room — night shift, union crowd, skeptical veterans?
The tougher the better. People are hard for a reason, and I understand those reasons. Nothing beats breaking through to a group who thinks we have nothing in common, only to find out we’re the same.
Will you help promote the event?
Yes. Send me the assets and your social handles, and I’m happy to share and engage.
Can we record it? Can we use it internally afterward?
Yes, with a recording and licensing agreement that covers recording, internal use and livestreaming. Attendees may not livestream the talk or share the slides without written consent.
